WELCOME TO ALTONA PIRATES BASKETBALL CLUB
The yearly Altona Pirates Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 23rd April (2024)
We are calling for any interested individuals to join the Committee of the Altona Pirates that will work collaboratively and guide the direction of the Club over the 2024/2025 period!

Altona Sports Centre (290 Queen St, Altona Meadows VIC 3028)
During the meeting, all Club positions will be up for nomination as below, for a period of 1 year:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Volunteer Registrar, Boys Registrar, Girls Registrar, Coaching Co-Ordinator, Website Coordinator, Uniform Co-Ordinator, Apparel Co-Ordinator, Media Co-Ordinator, Junior Domestic Committee Representative and General Committee Member.

All nominations must be received by 5:00pm on Tuesday, 16th April, 2024 (via the above Google Form)
Guests are also welcomed to attend the AGM without nomination.

2024 WINTER SEASON
The Altona Pirates Basketball Club is a junior basketball club playing at the Altona Stadium. We have currently 58 teams from under 8’s to under 18’s, with more than 475 players (which is growing by the day). We are also blessed to have more 100 Volunteers, ie Coaches, Team Managers & Committee etc.

Sprinkles Ice Creamery
The original name of the club was the Port Phillip Pirates and was a formed in April 1992 as one of the founding clubs of the Altona Bay Basketball Association. There were 6 teams in the inaugural year and games were played at satellite courts within the local community, whilst the Stadium was being built.
On the 5th of July 1993 the club was officially registered as the Altona Pirates Basketball Club.
